Wissenschaftliche Grundlagen

Die Mawendo-Lösung basiert auf eigenen Studien und bereits geleisteter Forschungsarbeit in der Orthopädie und Unfallchirurgie, Trainingswissenschaften und Physiotherapie. Zusätzlich werden für Mawendo die Leitlinien¹ der orthopädischen und unfallchirurgischen Fachgesellschaften berücksichtigt.

Wissenschaftliche Studien² zeigen einen hohen Stellenwert von strukturiert aufgebauten Eigenübungen, die gezielt auf eine Erkrankung zugeschnitten sind und zusätzlich Informationen für den Patienten beinhalten. Die Ergebnisse können sogar einer physiotherapeutischen Regelverordnung überlegen sein.

In einer Studie³ konnte die Wirksamkeit des Mawendo Therapieprogramms gezeigt werden. Patienten mit dem Beschwerdebild des Patellofemoralen Schmerzsyndroms verzeichneten nach dem 12-wöchigen Training mit Mawendo eine signifikante Verbesserung hinsichtlich Schmerz und Funktion des Kniegelenks.

Mawendo setzt diese Erkenntnisse und die Erfahrung aus der ärztlichen, physiotherapeutischen und sportwissenschaftlichen Praxis für eine zeitgemäße Anwendung mit moderner Informationstechnologie um. So kann dieser wissenschaftlich fundierte Therapieansatz mehrerer Fachdisziplinen von einer Vielzahl von Patienten genutzt werden.
